I've been Tagged!
This is my dad and my Uncle Bill, or PapaBill as Mekhi coined him. He passed away and we miss him. He was a WWII Vet, had a 55+ year marriage, and was an overall kick in the pants!
Rules: Go to your 4th photo file, go the 4th picture and post it! Then pass the tag along!

Man at work...
Let's go back to earlier this summer....
And now, the man at work.
Not as much fun.
So, we finally took a day and spent it getting the pool down. Robert is the best. If you didn't catch that Robert is the BEST. I love my husband. *Sigh* :) Anyways, it took forever to drain ever so slowly last week and then we spent an afternoon of trial and error finding the best techniques to both clean and get rid of the water. We made some good discoveries (towards the very end) and will be so efficient NEXT year. Oh well, it was actually kind of nice to spend all that time doing a project together.
Tayvin was an angel who just played and played.

And eventually hung out in the moby for a few minutes and then quickly passed out (I love this carrier!)
Mekhi was so helpful, NOT. He just showed up every once in awhile asking if he could go play with so and so. Robert says that Mekhi has the neighborhood on lockdown because he knows so many of the kids now. That and that he's a pimp because all the little girls want to hang out with him. Oh boy. We'll have to lock him up soon! ;)

Here's the lovely tarp... we are almost done.

Wow! I was so impressed with ourselves! That would be the pool in the box! Thank you very much!
So pretty...
And this is our newest landscape feature...
Ahhh, FUN.

So, NOT pretty.

It was worth it, but this is what we will be looking at right outside the sliding glass door until next summer!
