Horsey Hat

So, my friend Erica and I went to the mall to go walking.
We ended up getting lunch and shopping.
This is Tayvin's $14 outfit including the hat, which she picked out herself and had to have.
"Mommy, my hat!" I let her try it on and of course had to get it. Who could resist?
She put it on and kept saying
"I lika my hat, I lika horsey."
Took me a minute to figure out the horsey part, but apparently the hat says cowgirl to her.
It was pretty entertaining to say the least.

Shrine Circus

Not as impressive as Wringling Brothers but still fun. Tayvin wanted to "soft" the elephant so darn bad, I felt bad for her. We sat right behind Derek, Chandra and Chandra's parents. It was fun to all go to the same show. One of Rob's friends happened to be sitting right behind us with his daughters. Overall a fun night! Of course she was suprised and delighted when the song "barbie girl" came on over the loud speakers. We had been singing it to her that same week and I think she had thought we were just making it up. :)

War Wounds.

Modeling her "owies" from her 2-yr well check.
She heard a kid crying in another room and she instantly lost it.
She pretty much screamed like a crazy person the entire appointment.
While I'm on the subject:
Weight is 29lbs.
Height 34"
Head Circ 19 1/2"
I guess this is 70 something percent for weight & 90 something for height?
Whatever...she's healthy.
A few weeks later she got her first accidental "owies" when she tripped and fell on her walk home from the park. Poor baby. :(

Sprinkler days.

1st really nice and warm Sunday afternoon...kids so excited to hit the sprinklers!
Replay, a few weeks later.
(Grass looking a lot better!)
I love their relationship.

Bossy Princess

"Be a princess NOW!"
She eventually took our crowns away... "NO! My princess!!"
A few weeks later: that big bucket of princess stuff was still haunting Miranda so she came over to play.

Tay's Birthday Day Cont.

So she abandons her "bike" and takes off running...
to the boys.
Who are totally excited to see her and...
who are also totally cool with playing with her.
I love it!
I really get a kick out of it because my mom would always talk about how the kids in
our neighborhood when I was really little were always wanting to play with me.
I have a bunch of letters/pictures in my babybook from my brothers and a bunch of neighborhood boys
welcoming me home from the hospital when I was born. Something with my DNA and the Tri-Cities I suppose. ;)
