Poor Khi with the Thanksgiving-ish Birhday. Man. So we came home Friday night from the hospital with Ave and Khi's 9th birthday was the next day!! Fortunately, he has awesome grandparents who were more than happy to swoop in to the rescue and make sure this kid had a fun day.
They started over by bringing some lunch and then taking him to the local high school football playoff game. Then they came home and got Robert & Tay so they could head off to Eatza Pizza for dinner. I obviously stayed home with the baby, which was kinda weird, but whatever. Then Grandpa took Robert, Khi, Trev, and Miranda to see the movie Megamind, which they seemed to enjoy. Trev even got to come have a late night with Khi to play with the new video game and Lego's he received.
{Thanks so much mom n dad for being great grandparents!!!}
The fam...
Pretty cute if I don't say so myself!
That's my boy.
Btw, do you know how long I had to listen to him tell me how many days it was until this book came out? I don't either, but it felt like alot! "Mom, Diary of a Wimpy Kid...number 6...the purple one? It comes out in ___ days...they are going to have it at Costco. Can we get it?"
And this is the picture I get! Nice.
Khi~
I love you to pieces even though I kinda want to
tear my hair out at times due to your {I think I'm a teenager already} attitude.
I must admit though, you are such a great big brother.
I love that you watch out for Tay and are so excited to hold Ave "just one more time."
You are a Lego building genius.
You are smart and kind to others.
Your laugh makes me smile.
No matter what, you are my bubba and I LOVE you!!
Happy Birthday buddy!
~Mom
