All about Tayvin Angela Lynn.

I kept telling Robert that I wanted to sit down and write this blog entry about Tayvin so I wouldn't forget anything, but of course, I procrastinated. I wanted to make a list at her birthday time of the words she does and the different things she does that were new and that I hadn't yet blogged about. Poor TayTay with no journal kept for her like I did for Mekhi, but that's the way it goes I hear.

She loves to whistle (or try, but she does pretty good!). She thinks anything Mekhi does is hilarious of course. She signs for milk and more, usually with some serious urgency. :D She wants everything she sees anyone else eating and squeals so stinking loud about it! Oh the high-pitched, ear-piercing, glass breaking shrieking (it pretty much makes me nuts!) She loves to clap and can be easily distracted with it, which is good and will sometimes even work to temporarily put a cease fire on the shrieking! She loves patty-cake and hide-n-seek or peek-a-boo too.

She "jamms" to music, bopping her head and clapping her hands to the beat. Now she puts her hands up in the air while everyone says "Go TayTay, Go TayTay, Go, Go" and she'll say gogogo, very funny. I'll try and get a video to post because it really is a crack up when she get's going.

Rips all "pretty-s" out of her hair, so now if she hears the word pretty she reaches up to her head in search immediately.

She likes to pick out her clothes...yeah, already! She'll get really mad or happy depending on what you are holding up. She has some seriously evil attitude, and yes...I'm very scared! She knows what she wants and she'll get it...or else. ;) Naughty baby. She's lucky she's so darn cute! Robert and Mekhi always say "TayTay number 1" since right before her birthday so this is her response now, usually with a smile or laugh. Sometimes though she'll be doing that while upset or crying... she's very dedicated!

Unfortunately she's had a bit of a biting phase and actually drew blood on Mekhi, twice. Poor Khi. If you do or offer her something she doesn't want she shakes her head no and does a "flinging it away" hand sweep ... it's both cute and obnoxious. Very much gives you the impression of the haughty Queen who you dared offer something to that was below her. Again, very scared for her teenage years! She does all done and puts her hands up. She totally has her little babyish version of Backyardigans theme song and I can totally recognize it when she sings it. We've taped a few different shows for her to watch, one being Hi-5 (painfully corny) and she'll come running when she hears the songs at the beginning. She's a candy freak (imagine that!) and when I let her reach into her bag or tube of snacks on her own she just cheeses like she's the coolest thing ever.
