So...we forgot to get firewood ahead of time and the nearest little gas station/mart was closed at 5.
We got resourceful. We actually were pulling over as we drove from the mart and picked up any larger sticks/wood/broken pieces of pallets, etc. Then we discovered this dump spot next to the apple orchards.
We were all entertained checking out other people's garbage for some reason.
Enough so that I even took pics.
Mekhi was very dissapointed that I wouldn't let him keep this.
And here is our lovely wood. We went back a day later and stocked up even more.
To all those who paid for their firewood...suckas! : )
