She throws herself off the couch amongst other crazy things then stands up and says "that's fun!"
Got in the car (March) and she said crystal clear: "Daddy. Seatbelt!"
Seriously grubbing down some spaghetti and broccoli for dinner, she stops mid bite and says almost reverently: "Mama...you welcome, mama." Rob laughed and said that was her way of saying thank you. It was funny because she says "Tank you, mama" and "Tank you Daddy." Or Tank you...door, pony, Khi, car, etc... ALL the TIME. Pretty much compulsively actually.
Tayvin: GIMME HAND! Daddy, Gimme Hand!
Daddy: May I have your hand please?
Tayvin: SHHURE!!
This girl is a dancaholic. She wants to dance morning, noon, and night. Last week she really wanted to dance durning music time in nursery. And she did. She wants everyone else to dance with her too. In fact she often proclaims that she is going to/wants to/needs to "break it down." Then she proceeds to do so. A few weeks ago at church she yelled this very loudly in the foyer right during sacrament meeting and then started to dance and do her "break dancing" on the floor in her pretty Sunday dress.
Kept yelling that she couldn't hear in the car. Finally figured out she wanted the radio turned UP. Turned it up and she instantly started dancing with a huge smile on her face. Then promptly started commanding each of us to dance with her.
Still obsessed with shoes and that made shoe shopping a bit of a chore with Grandma last week. She wanted all of them and at one point grabbed a box of sandals and seriously tucked it under her arm and took off for the door! I've never seen her run so fast...she was determined to make it out with her loot. lol
She is still very into dress-up and she is equally opinionated about her day to day clothes. I often have to show her several options. I'll get a few NO's and then finally a big smile and head nod. Such a diva!
She loves showing her belly. She was laying on the floor one day with her belly out so I got down and started "eating her belly" and blowing raspberries on it. Now she always runs into the room, flops herself down on the floor by me, pulls up her shirt and "mom, mom, mommy! BELLY!!!!" Who can resist that cute little tummy? Not me!
She wants to "soft" every animal we come upon. That would be to pet them softly.
She's such a cute little mommy to her dolls now. Taking care of them and putting them night night.
Pretend sleeping is so funny. She's done it for quite some time because of Robert actually, but it's really funny. She'll say "shhhhh, I'm sleeping" and lay down and fake snore.
She's obsessed with going bye bye. If she catches the slightest hint of us leaving the house she'll find her shoes and ours and start saying bye. If one of us is sitting somewhere it's "byebye...I luv you, bye" while waving and blowing kisses.
She always wants to give everyone a big hug and kiss when it's time for bed...especially Khikhi. "I kiss Khikhi!!"
She loves to sing too, and she's getting pretty good at repeating songs back that she hears even briefly. Sometimes I'll hum/sing a few notes in a pattern and she'll repeat it back.
My favorite thing she does now though is to sing-song tell me "I love your dress, it's pretty" or "I yika shoes" or "I love ya hair...it's beautiful!" Soooo stinking cute!
CUTE! Reminds me so much of Carly...I love this age!!!
