A decent shot before church.
Yeah. Not so much.
This is Alex. Alex is my parents right-hand man and good friend in the Ukraine. He is their interpreter, language teacher, and more. He came back with my dad for 2 weeks this summer for a whirlwind tour of the great Pacific Northwest. We had a great time initiating him into the family. Haha. We were pretty nice, promise. It was very cool to get to meet him in person finally and to get to see old things in a new way through his eyes. Alex is a great person and it was a pleasure to spend our Chelan time with him!
Come on Grandpa, let's go to the park!!!
In the lake...fully dressed....it happens.
Derek n Chandra
Khi n friends
Tay had some cheese to go with her ice cream...
Jayah couldn't be bothered, not that I blame her.
Had to catch a sweet Khi-induced moment.
Note the card playing in background...Alex was not a game player, but being a good sport he played with us a few times. I believe that was the game of Phase 10 that he happily WON!
Later followed the funniest and seriosusly longest (like hours) game of Uno EVER!! :)
Please don't mind the suit...he's European. ;)
Mom n Dad... aka Grandma n Papa
