I was really excited to take part in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life this year.

I think they did like 22 miles or something. Nuts!
Rob and the kids came for an hour or so and did a few laps with me!
The luminaries I made...just a few unfortunately of the many in my extended family who have passed away from cancer of one type or another.

Monika & my niece Morisa were there with their school group, and mom came for a few hours too!
I was a little over 5 months pregnant at the time and was kinda bummed I couldn't do as much as I thought I'd be able to. I did end up doing a little over 3 miles and hung out until 4:30 am.
Either way I look forward to doing it again!
