Charbonneau

Ahhh, sun, bare feet, sand...
Our crazy flippin' dog was with us of course.
We ended up being down at the water all day every day.
Not getting back to the campsite until 7 or 8!
A little innertube frisbee anyone?
Playdoh to occupy while mom n dad play some Settlers.
It worked too, and then Khi ASKED to go to bed!!
Seriously, gotta love camping!
Met a great couple we'd like to adopt as some new grandparents who were so kind to take us out on the river in their boat! So fun.
We stopped a few times to swim and laze around in the water...it was heavenly.
Caroline is my kind of gal. Any grandma that is still all about jumping in the water and tubing is pretty cool if you ask me!
Coerced Rob into the water...not an aquatic individual he'd tell you.
Hehe, look at his face...
Finally getting relaxed.
LOVE the campfire. Except for the night I stayed up by myself reading by the fire and I hear a noise that I think is Buster our dog, but I was wrong. I turn around after I discover Buster is under my feet to the hugest raccoon I've ever seen. Seriously, who knew? That thing was on steroids and not bothered by me in the least. I was more worried about it getting into a fight with the dog, but my whimpy dog wasn't even considering breathing at that point. My knight had to come save us and scare it away.
Tay thought getting to handle the flashlight was the coolest thing ever.
Last night...zonked out together, how cute is that?
Meanwhile we were up playing some cards and first the sprinklers decide to not behave as they had the previous 4 nights and start spraying all over our stuff...food, fire, tent, etc. Nice. I ran out, got soaked, and tried my best to readjust them....then as we get settled back into our game we hear a noise...
look over and a big fat skunk is sitting there looking at us like he wants us to deal him in or something.
Needless to say, I was worried about Rob scaring it away. Luckily, he scooted away and on that note I opted to wrap up our final night and hit the tent.
All in all, another great camping trip for the Wallace's.
P.S. Camping 6 months preggo is EXHAUSTING!

  1. You are a brave woman! I love camping, and this looks like it was a fantastic trip- skunk, racoon, what more can you ask for.
