Entering that independent phase, but instead of "I do it" it's "I help you." I help you, I help you, I help you!
I love that she is such a good girl about saying prayers. I really love that now when she folds her arms she holds them up in front of her eyes. Multi-tasking already!
Starting to sing along to songs on her shows and even tries to sing along to ones she doesn't actually know, so cute!
Taking bath and I walked out to grab something. I hear her squealing...run in to find her standing in corner of tub with hands up squealing at the "logs" floating around in the water. After I got it all cleaned up she says "Mom..I done. No bath, I done!" LOL
She has entered that seperation anxiety and hasn't going down to sleep so nicely the past couple of weeks. One night I gave in and let her sit with me while I was watching Ellen. I would laugh along with the audience and every time she'd look up at me and say "what hoppen?" So stinking cute!
She's putting so many words together, and the words are gettting so clear. She also will follow directions including cleaning up really well. Unless she's mad then she just cusses us out in toddlerish. Pretty funny though. She still has some serious attitude, but she has more and more cuddly moments too.
She is still obsessed with shoes and likes to pick out her clothes. She has very definite opinions. I find myself having to hide things because she will freak and insist on wearing things like her moon boots and dress-up dress to bed!
I heard her cough in other room and asked if she was okay... "yeah. my ok" and it's so much cuter if you could hear her little voice. I just think her voice is so darn cute. I love all the "yeah" and "oh" and "oh.ok"
More recent stuff:
I L.O.V.E her little voice and the way she says "uh-huh." Robert's always laughing because he knows I ask her stuff just to hear her say it. My super cute niece Brinn says it that way too. Love it!
She copies everything Mekhi does and says. For real, in the car she will copy him if it's about 4-5 words or under. If it's more or he's going too fast then she'll do gibberish and end up with the couple of words she remembers. Funny.
When we say it's time for nap or bed she will automatically run for the couch saying "I sit, blanket" or "I hungy, snack."
She loves to get in on the family scaring now. She will try and scare us and squeels and runs if we say we are going to get her. So fun.
She is still really demanding. We are tring to remind her about manners and actually asking for things. If she is ignored too long there may be very loud yelling in my face and even a swat on my arm or something. Naughty little monkey! She's so cute though, it's hard not to laugh. Especially the look she gets on her face.
She always want to "walka hand" now. She freaks when we go to put her in the shopping cart or whatever. Everything is what hoppened, and walka hand these days.
I love when anything happens to any of us, she stops instantly and does the whole "you ok?" of course she asks what hoppened and will sweetly rub the persons back or arm still asking "you ok." Most of the time she'll end with a little hug and/or kiss. Does it get any sweeter?
So so cute! That all reminds me of Carly so much, they are so close in age that they seem to be going through the same phases. Seriously, the little voices are adorable. I love hearing Carly talk! "Uh-huh" is one of our favorites....I was laughing also because we call Carly a "naughty little monkey" also...funny! What cute little stinkers these babies are!!!
