Modern Day Miracle

I had an email in my inbox this morning from Dr. Nelson who's book first got Heather and then myself interested in using energy work. His update this morning wasn't on that topic though, it was actually a personal request for prayers for his grandson who drowned in his daughter's bathtub... and who was dead on arrival... and who's heart started beating after a priesthood blessing and lots of prayers... and who is still fighting for survival down in SLC. You can read the whole story here. I don't know these people or that little boy, but as a mom that is pretty much my worst nightmare! Horrifying. So, go read, be grateful, and offer up a prayer for Bronson and his family.

And just so you know and we are all on the same page: I KNOW that the power of the priesthood is REAL. I know that miracles do happen. I know that God is real, that he is our Father, that he loves us, that he wants what is best for us even though it's often hard. I know that this church is true and I am forever grateful to know, to belong, to believe. I know that God is unchanging and just as the people in the Bible had living prophets to help them and guide them, I know that God has provided the same help and guidance for us. I believe in a true and living prophet, namely Thomas S. Monson. I am grateful for these things more than I can express. I am grateful that I have been blessed with a husband who believes in these things as well and is always striving to live up to them and to provide us with this power in our home. I love you!! I pray that you all can experience and know these things too!!
